Nitro Circus' biggest, spectacular tour in UK ever NEWS
After a fantastic shows last year, the daredevil team from Nitro Circus set two more Guinness World Records in front of a live cinema audience at the O2 in London. The audience of hundreds were wowed with the spectacular stunts.
Nitro Circus, Travis Pastrana's mad-cap collective of fearless adrenalin addicts launched themselves into the record book twice last week with an amazing Guinness World Record breaking stunt, which saw 16 motorcyclists partake in a simultaneous mid-air back-flip in front of a live cinema paying audience of hundreds at The O2 in London, UK; a never been done before feat.
The stunt was streamed live via satellite to over 500 cinemas across Europe, where fans sat on the edge of their seats as the adrenaline charged events in London unfolded.
18 international riders participated in the 30 minute spectacle, which saw their legacy immortalised by Guinness World Records. The O2 exploded with applause, as the no-limits petrol heads showcased their signature moves prior to gearing up for the stunt.
This was followed by a broadcast from motorsports champion and Nitro Circus front-man Travis Pastrana, who gave an overview of the history of the motorcycle backflip.
Following their triumphant, record-obliterating finish, interviews with the riders were broadcast live on the big screen, so that the audience could witness their adrenaline-fueled reactions first hand.
This is the third Guinness World Records title held by Nitro Circus.

This stunt marked the release of Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D which is being distributed by Omniverse Vision in partnership with Universal Pictures International Entertainment (the home entertainment division of Universal Pictures) and was dedicated to Eigo Sato.
This movie sees Nitro's unique brand of action sports and entertainment burst onto the big screen in phenomenal 3D for encore performances at selected sites from the weekend. The 3D Blu-Ray and DVD will be available from 25 March 2013.
