Composing of Jim "Jim Bob" Morrison(singer) and Les "Fruitbat" Carter(guitarist), Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine, or more fondly called as Carter USM is an independent rock band formed in 1988.

The English-based bond marked a distinct style in power pop which synergized samples, aligned drum machines and basses along with rock and roll guitars and intensely playful worldplay in their lyrics.It was in 1992 when the duo rose to stardom. What started out with two members became a band of six as they took on new members in the following years in attempt to reinstate their fame. In 1998, the band temporarily split up after being able to release seven albums.The original two-man toured together in early 2000's with their bands as "Who's the Daddy Now?" The two reunited for two farewell gigs in mid-2000's as a celebration of the band's contribution in the music industry. The two-CD sequel "You Fat Bastard" was released by EMI for the reunion of the two. In 2008, both Jim Bob and Fruitbat are setting for more Carter USM gigs, which even lead to headlining the Beautiful Days Festival in 2011.
