Evile is a thrash metal band founded by school friends Ben Carter and Matt Drake, playing drums and rhythm guitar respectively.

They were later joined by Matt's brother Ol Drake on the lead guitar, and by Mike Alexander on bass. Their musical influences include Metallica, Megadeth, and Pantera.The band's debut album Enter the Grave received critical acclaim, with Kerrang! magazine hailing them as the band who is carrying the genre's revival on their shoulders. They later released their second album, Infected Nations.After performing a headline show in Europe, bassist Mike Alexander collapsed and died on the way to the hospital. He was then replaced by Joel Graham, formerly of Rise to Addiction.Evile released their third album Five Serpent's Teeth last year, which includes a track called In Memoriam to honour their fallen comrade Mike. The group will be touring the UK this October, so be sure to catch them!
