Glasvegas epitomise the type of band who straddle the divide between indie cool and mainstream acceptance.

The Bible of indie music, NME, have praised them extensively and their debut album was nominated for the Mercury Music prize. Despite their success, Glasvegas are no longer on a mainstream record label, much to the delight of much of their diehard fan base who believe that this will free their sound and creative energies in a way that has not been previously seen.Glasvegas are a four piece indie powerhouse consisting of James and Rab Allan, Paul Donoghue and Jonna Lofgren on vocals, guitar bass and drums respectively. The band are huge in both the United Kingdom and Sweden and have an 'in the known' fan base in the United States and Canada. Both of their first two full length records have received extensive critical praise from all corners of the industry, from blogs to magazines, and demos for their third LP are currently circulating.
