Eclectic British 5 piece, the "Mystery Jets", have announced a release date for their long awaited new album "Radlands", and a 16 date tour of the UK to follow in support, starting on the 28th of March, in Leeds.
"Mystery Jets" will release their fourth album through Rough Trade Records on the 30th of April. This is the bands first album since the critically acclaimed 2010 release, "Serotonin", which was produced by veteran record producer Chris Thomas, who has produced artists such as: "The Sex Pistols", "Pulp", and "INXS".
The band have announced that although the new album will be in the same vein as their previous releases, it will be much more epic in scope, and will be distinctly American. Which is in strark contrast to their earlier works.
The album was recorded in Austin, Texas - and marks the first time that the band has left the UK to record an album. Lead singer, Blane Harrison, described the experience as being akin to a "strange dream" and was surprised that the band were even able to pull off the feat.
The tours kicks off in Leeds on March 28th, and runs right through to the 18th of May, with a hotly anticipated performance at the Brixton Academy, London.
