Hailing from Sweden, the pop group Roxette are a duo who sprung onto the world pop music scene with their first big hits, "It Must Have Been Love," and "Listen to Your Heart," released in the late 80s. They continued their popularity with the massive success of the album "Joyride," with the title track of the same name hitting the top of the carts in the U.S. and several European countries. Combining the strong, beautiful singing of Marie Fredriksson and the music and vocals of Per Gessle, Roxette entertained fans worldwide with these and other top radio hits and the accompanying world tours. Besides ABBA, Roxette are the most successful Swedish band of all time. After a hiatus of 10 years, Roxette released a new album, "Charm School," in 2011 and embarked on a world tour with hundreds of concerts planned for 2011 and 2012. Roxette will release a new album in March 2012 entitled " T2 - Tourism 2" and continue their world tour until the autumn of 2012.
