'Supersonic Sex Machine' '17 Girls In A Row' and 'It Wont Suck Itself'. No, not questionable late night films, these are in fact just a few of the song titles from glam metal rockers Steel Panther's newest album, 'Balls Out'.
You've heard of Mötley Crüe, you've heard of KISS, well these guys are the 21st century's version. Don't be fooled by the façade though. Behind the over the top song titles, the make up, the big hair and the extravagant clothing (think animal print headbands and ripped fishnet tights) you will find a band hailed for their live performances. Steel Panther are well known for their gigs, a true 'Rock 'n' Roll' show which has seen their previous London dates sold out, and where many established artists from P!nk and Kelly Clarkson to Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot) have joined them onstage for quite simply a party.
The band will be in the UK for 4 dates from March 27th, with their final show at the London Brixton Acedemy. If you don't come away from one of their gigs with a sore neck from headbanging, you'll come away with a sore jaw from laughing. These guys know how to have fun.
