Formed in 1972 in Pasadena California, Van halen was first known as a garage band call Mammoth.

Luckily however the band changed its name to Van Halen and thus set itself forth on to a path towards rock and roll super stardom. Behind the blistering riffs and guitar solos of Eddie Vanhalen, the beats of drummer Alex VanHalen and the sure fire vocals of Diamond David Lee Roth the band was a can't miss ticket.Van Halen was originally discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss late one night as the band played at the Whiskey a go go in L.A. The rest is rock and roll history. Through all the turbulent times and controversies the band remains strong. VanHalen is currently touring the US behind their current album A Different Kind of Truth to sold out crowds at each venue. Cross your fingers for Van Halen to tour the UK.
