This group from Sheffield, England had also garnered plenty of praise from the UK press, and they recently won the Best British Newcomer award at the 2012 Kerrang! Awards.While She Sleeps had just released their debut full-length album This is the Six this August, featuring the title track This is the Six as its first single.Sheffield, England is known for its steel production during the Industrial Revolution, and the opening notes to The North Stands For Nothing reflects the town's influence on the group. Their music was also influenced by hard rock and heavy metal acts such as Slipknot, Foo Fighters, and Marilyn Manson.While She Sleeps will be touring the UK late September to early October, so be sure to catch them!
