Stereophonics
Welsh rock band Stereophonics stormed onto the rock scene in 1992 with a sound that's been described as being akin to the genres of alt-rock and British traditional rock. Their debut album Word Gets Round was released back in 1997, instantly charting at number six in the UK. Reaching mainstream prominence after they released the song Performance and Cocktails in 1999, the band have been praised by critics and fans alike for their incredible live performances, and have headlined many of Britain's top music festivals, including Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury, V Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival. Boyzone
Formed by Louis Walsh in 1993 the Boyzone lads responded to an advert in the media for members of a new boy band to rival TakeThat. Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch, Ronan Keating and Stephen Gately eventually made the final line-up and became one of the most successful bands in the UK and Ireland.
