Radnorshire is a former administrative county of Wales and one of thirteen historic Welsh counties. It was bordered by the counties of Cardiganshire to the west, Brecknockshire to the south, Herefordshire in the east and Shropshire and Montgomeryshire in the north. It is now represented by the Radnorshire district of Powys as the original county was abolished in 1974 and subsumed into the new county of Powys.
