2 litre V8 engine, and a top speed of 187mph might be half the price but with a waiting list that reads like a fantasy football team. This is the car that any self respecting Premiership player or city boy wants to be seen in. Clarkson described the R8 as one of the truly great cars and the only hesitation he has in awarding it the coveted five stars is that, ideally, he would like to give it six! Judge this amazing car for yourself and see what all the fuss is about as you slip behind the wheel of a motoring legend in the making. Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then typically receive two demonstration laps with an instructor followed by three to four driving laps in an Audi R8. At most locations you will then be awarded an individual driving certificate as a memento of your experience. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking. Depending on location a spectator can enjoy a complimentary 4x4 passenger ride.

The minimum age is 18 years old (please note Silverstone is 21). Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4in) and minimum height 1.57m (5ft 2in). Max weight 102kg (16 stone). A full UK or European manual driving licence which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. (Please note for Silverstone you must have held a full driving licence for 3 years).
