Availability: Both locations run on selected Saturdays (at least two per month). In Oxfordshire, additional Fridays and in Staffordshire selected Sundays (at least two per month) and occasional Wednesdays. Both circuits are closed from early December to either January or February. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for between 60 and 90 minutes. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There are likely to be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome, and at Staffordshire each guest will receive a free 4x4 off road passenger ride. Both venues offer extra (chargeable) drives and passenger rides on the day, subject to availability. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. Guidelines: You will be sent further details when you make your booking. Restrictions: Maximum weight is 18 stone, minimum height in Oxfordshire is 5' and at both venues is 6'6''. Begin with an introduction and short briefing. Depending on the venue, either get some familiarisation laps or get straight in behind the wheel from the outset. Drive six miles in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 - the beast of the rally world, where acceleration seems endless. Complete the experience with a debriefing session, presentation of a certificate and completion of a driver analysis form.
