Trowbridge Town Hall presents Steve Wickham

Starting the summer off with a night to remember! Steve Wickham frontlines Trowbridge’s live music venue, performing with Joe Chester.

Steve Wickham has been in the industry for 40 years, with his recorded debut on U2s Sunday Bloody Sunday, where he put his violin skills to great use. He has been honing his musical talent with The Waterboys for 30 years since: whilst performing with the band it has taken Steve all over the world and onto some of its greatest stages, from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera house and to our very own Royal Albert Hall.

His live show is full of incandescent playing, sensitivity and wit.

Not only has Steve toured the world with The Waterboys but he has also performed with his other groups NoCrows and The Beekeepers for decades. Whilst Steve has been quite the successful band member, he has also had a solo career with two albums under his belt: Geronimo in 2004 and Beekeeper in 2017, both of which really show his songwriting prowess.

In June, Steve will be performing with Joe Chester across England in search of magic, which will be stopping in Trowbridge at the Town Hall on Saturday June 4th from 7:30pm.
