Channel 4 Ex Soap Star on Murder Charge

The Actor Brian Regan, who played Terry Sullivan, in the Channel 4 soap, Brookside, has been charged with the murder of a nightclub doorman in February.



Terry Sullivan was the character everyone had time for in the much loved Channel 4 soap Brookside.

The phrase 'calm down, calm down' was made famous by the actor Brian Regan, who has just been charged with the murder of a Liverpool nightclub bouncer, according to the Merseyside Police.

Regan now 53, from Garston in Liverpool, was charged yesterday with the murder of the doorman on the 24th February 2011. He has also been charged with perverting the course of justice, after father-of- one, Bahman Faraji, age 44 was gunned down at close range outside a Liverpool pub.

Two other men from Liverpool have been arrested by detectives and have also been charged with the murder. All three offenders are due at Liverpool Magistrates later today.
