Towns and cities across Britain have once again seen fresh snow causing travel and traffic problems. It's the second dusting of snow within the last seven days, although the recent flurry was not as deep as the previous one.

The Met Office has stated that the wintry weather is set to continue over the next few days as Atlantic weather systems stall, bringing Britain a mix of snow, rain and sleet.

They have also issued a level 3 alert warning of health risks to vulnerable patients.
