ITV apologises for showing Chi mag cover NEWS
After BritEvents.com reported earlier today of bikini-clad photos of the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge published in Chi magazine, ITV's This Morning mistakenly broadcast the front page of the magazine to millions of their viewers.
This is the second time, that ITV's This Morning has come under fire with mistakenly flashing material in front of the camera. Just last year Phillip Schofield was disciplined for passing a list of paedophiles to David Cameron in front on the ITV cameras.
This incident resulted in a inquiry by Ofcom after they received 415 complaints.
Today, the TV couple Eammon Holmes and Ruth Langford were reviewing the news headlines when an uncensored shot of the Duchess on the front page of the Italian gossip magazine was flashed on screen to millions of This Morning viewers.
A statement was soon released by ITV, who said that the unfortunate incident was 'deeply regrettable', adding, 'We apologise unreservedly to the Duke and Duchess.'
This morning's gaff comes just days after St James's Palace released the statement condemning the publication of the pictures taken of a pregnant bikini-clad Kate Middleton.
