Stabbings at Swedish House Mafia gig

Three people were stabbed during the Swedish House Mafia gig at the Milton Keynes Bowl show this weekend.

Another three people have been stabbed during a Swedish House Mafia in Milton Keynes this weekend.

These stabbings follow the tragic incidents at the bands gig in Dublin earlier this month, in which nine people were stabbed. It is believed just one person was responsible for the Dublin gig attacks.

This weekend the gig, which took place at the Milton Keynes Bowl, was again marred by three stabbings in which two men aged 23 and one aged 24 were injured.

One of the injured 23 year-old men, thought to be from the West Midlands, is still being treated in Milton Keynes Hospital for a punctured lung.

The other 23 year-old, received cuts to his head and arms but has now been discharged from the hospital.

The 24 year old victim was treated for minor injuries by St. John's Ambulance on site.

Police are keen to talk to a white male in his 20's seen wearing a blue Nike T-shirt, black jacket and black jogging bottoms, in connection with the attacks.

Detective Chief Inspector Justin Fletcher spoke about the incident saying: 'This appears to have been an isolated incident, and overall we are pleased with how the event passed off, but we would like to trace the person responsible for the event.'

A spokesperson for the Police has asked: 'Anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly if they captured it on their camera or mobile phone is requested to contact the police.'

In a separate incident, it is believed three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class-A drugs at the gig.

This event has been reported to be the last of Swedish House Mafia's appearances. The Dance trio announced last month that they will be splitting up after what they have called their farewell tour.
