The Cast return with Little Shop of Horrors

Details of a show coming to Long Eaton

Local theatre group The Cast, a collection of talented performers from other musical societies who get together annually to perform something daring, creative or fun, are returning to the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton this March to perform the well known musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors.

This classic show is set in 1950s America and chronicles the troubles of poor Seymour, a rather dowdy assistant at a skid-row flower shop with a secret admiration for his co-worker Audrey. The arrival a small new plant with an unusual appetite triggers a chain of ever more terrifying events - that may even lead to the end of the world as we know it!

Those in the audience for The Casts previous productions of Bad Girls, Eurobeat or Hot Mikado will know to expect an exhilarating evening of enjoyable theatre. With the talented pairing of Craig Arme and Emily Marshall-Sims in the lead roles, backed by a lively troupe of singers and dancers under the directorial gaze of Martin Holtom, you can be sure of a fantastic fun-filled evening.

Little Shop of Horrors performances start at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th March inc afternoon matinee. For tickets (from 9) or further enquiries telephone 07727 629911 or visit www.duchess-theatre.com and prepare to be screaming with laughter!
