In the current climate of suicide attacks, religious conflicts and dangerous speech, Murder in the Cathedral remains painfully relevant in its 80th anniversary year. There's an obvious resonance between T.S. Eliot's drama about the killing of Archbishop Thomas Becket and the recent murder in Charlie Hebdo. So a unique collaboration between the legal and theatrical professions in the historic Temple Church this January has added appropriateness.
